Privacy Policy

Last Updated: August 2026

At SafeMove ("we," "our," or "us"), protecting human life and safeguarding your personal data are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy details the exact nature of the information we collect, the rigorous security protocols we apply, and how data generated by the SafeMove ecosystem—including vehicle hardware, SOS wearables, and the Command App—is utilized. SafeMove is proudly an initiative by AISHMAD INTEGRITY NIGERIA LIMITED.

By accessing, installing, or utilizing the SafeMove ecosystem, you acknowledge and consent to the practices described in this document.

1. The Information We Collect

To provide proactive protection and immediate emergency response, our ecosystem requires specific telemetry and sensor data. We classify this data into three primary categories:

1.1 Telemetry and Location Data

  • Real-time GPS Coordinates: Collected continuously while the vehicle is in operation to detect route deviations and provide accurate dispatch locations during emergencies.
  • Wearable Ping Data: Range and connectivity status between the driver's SOS wearable and the vehicle's edge-node (up to 10km radius).
  • Vehicle Dynamics: Accelerometer and gyroscope data detecting sudden braking, severe impacts, and abnormal driving patterns indicating a potential threat or crash.

1.2 Audio and Video Data (Incident-Triggered Only)

SafeMove hardware includes in-cabin audio and video recording capabilities for evidentiary purposes. These feeds are strictly event-triggered.

  • Recordings are only initiated and saved when a severe impact is detected or when the SOS button on the wearable/dashboard is manually triggered.
  • Continuous video feed is processed locally on the edge device and immediately overwritten if no event occurs. It is not constantly streamed to our cloud servers.

1.3 Account and Administrative Information

  • User Details: Name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
  • Emergency Contacts: Trusted individuals you nominate to receive alerts during an SOS event.
  • Vehicle Identification: License plate number, vehicle make/model, and SafeMove hardware MAC addresses.

2. Cryptographic Protection & Edge Processing

Our infrastructure is designed to prevent mass surveillance and unauthorized data interception.

Edge Processing: The majority of data analysis happens physically inside your vehicle on the SafeMove edge-node. Video, audio, and routine telemetry are not streamed to the cloud continuously. Data is only transmitted when an anomaly or SOS event is confirmed.

Obfuscation and Encryption: All data transmitted from the vehicle to our cloud servers is heavily obfuscated and secured using AES-256 military-grade encryption. Even in the highly unlikely event of interception, the data appears as mathematical noise and cannot be decrypted without the secure keys hosted in our air-gapped secure environment.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information strictly for the purpose of maintaining and improving your security:

  • Emergency Dispatch: To rapidly deploy medical, police, or private security responders to your exact coordinates during an active SOS event.
  • Trusted Alerts: To notify your nominated emergency contacts with your location and status.
  • System Improvement: To train our AI algorithms on anonymized telemetry to better predict crash dynamics and security threats.
  • Account Support: To provide customer service and technical maintenance on your hardware.

We firmly state: We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your real-time location with third-party advertisers or marketers.

4. Law Enforcement & Government Access

SafeMove was built to support the battle against insecurity in Nigeria, including kidnapping and banditry. However, we strictly regulate access to user data.

We cooperate with law enforcement agencies only under the following conditions:

  • When presented with a valid, legally binding court order or warrant.
  • During an active, triggered SOS event where immediate police intervention is required to protect human life.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally on the vehicle hardware is continually overwritten. Cloud-transmitted emergency event data (including video/audio logs of a crash or attack) is retained securely for a period of 12 months for evidentiary and insurance purposes, after which it is permanently purged.

If you cancel your SafeMove subscription, all associated cloud data is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally mandated for an ongoing investigation.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection laws, you possess the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct any inaccuracies in your account profile.
  • Request the deletion of your account (subject to limitations if an active legal investigation involves your data).

To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at safemovepro@gmail.com.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect technological advancements or changes in legal regulations. Significant changes will be communicated via the Command App or email. Continued use of the ecosystem constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
